Autobus Bedrijf Curaçao N.V. (ABC)

Autobusbedrijf Curaçao N.V. (ABC) was founded in 1943 by the Central Government of the Netherlands Antilles. The company started with 1 route and 20 employees. In 1972 the Central Government passed the company over to the Government of Curacao, who owned the company up and untill this day. Now a days the company has 150 employees and a busfleet consisting of 40 busses.

At the moment ABC offers the following services:

Public Transport
With the 12 routes departing from the busstation at Punda and the 9 routes departing from the busstation at Otrobanda, Autobusbedrijf Curaçao N.V. (ABC) covers most parts of Curaçao, especially the mayor ‘highways’, with a public transport service that is reliable and operates according to the itinerary published by the company. There are many touristic attractions that can be reached by using the services of ABC, such as beaches, countryhouses, museums, natural parks and shopping areas.

Tours
Considering the expected growth in (cruise)tourism on Curaçao, ABC founded in 1998 a serviced-oriented tourcompany: Presidential Tours. Presidential Tours has a crew of well trained transportmanagers, bustechnicians, guides and drivers with many years of experience. Presidential Tours offers a variety of interesting tours with the aim to make your stay on our island a very happy and memorable one.

Busrental
Whenever you are planning an event which includes transportation of people by busses, you can consider our busrental service. We rent busses for single trip as well as roundtrips. The busrental always includes our own drivers.

The Paranda- and Pachanga – busses
The Paranda- and Pachangabusses add in a very special way life and color to the way we party on this island. These Partybusses represents fun, excitement and pure enjoyment accompanied by good music with colorfull lights surrounded by Open-Fresh-Curaçao air.

Our Informationcenter
To facilitate our customers ABC has two information center, one at each busstation (Punda and Otrobanda) in the innercity. At these centers you can also get your discount bustickets to be used on our public transport routes.
