Hato Area Development Company - HADCo N.V. - was founded in 1995 to develop the airport area of the Curaçao International Airport Hato. The primary lines of action are:

- developing the airport area into a smart business center
- create incentives to attract airport related businesses

HADCo is targeting companies from around the world whose businesses are dependent on the vicinity of an international airport.

Build, lease or buy office buildings! HADCo has initiated the necessary infrastructure for the area of Airside Office Park which will be ready January 2001. The park consists of 14 plots of 2500 m² to 4900 m² each, provided with fibre optic cables, water and power supply.

Companies providing services that require airport proximity – e.g. logistics providers, back offices, forwarders, distribution centers, spare parts banks – will benefit greatly from the facilities and incentives provided.

Incentives provided:

    - business friendly tax regime
    - no import duties
    - offshore status
    - sea - air connections

In addition they will benefit from Curaçao’s traditional edges: strategic location – close to the Americas and on the crossroads of major trade routes –, link with the European Union and a well developed international trade and financial services sector, telecommunications services, seaport and skilled labor force.
